How to Get Rid of Fleas
Household pests are the bane of our lives. We are always trying out new means to get rid of them. So, how to get rid of fleas without breaking the bank on an expensive pest removal service? Whether they are troubling your dog or younger children, it can be an unnerving task but you have to remove them as soon as possible.
Firstly: Have you noticed fleas in your household? They can enter the house through pets and then can infest carpets and rugs, bedding and other household items. Your garden and yard too can be infested follow these steps to get rid of the flea menace from your house:
1. The first step in getting rid of fleas is to vacuum clean the house, clean every nook and corner and especially focus on the carpets and beddings. The vibrations will loosen any fleas that have stuck themselves onto the carpet surface.
2. Spray insecticide. When you are selecting pesticides please check that they have insect growth regulator written on them. Do not neglect the yard and the garden. Spray the insecticide there as well as other places outdoors around your home too.
Fleas thrive in an environment that is hot and humid so please ensure that all your linen is well aired and also the pet kennel is clean and fresh (if you have one).
3. Get rid of fleas from your pets as they are the source of fleas and they suffer silently. Don’t do the cleaning of the house and pets on different days. Please clean the house and the pets the same day.
